11:00 pm	The shoot this evening went very well. Only about 30 minutes to actually photograph about 8 people, but I got a couple of good shots, and I really want to get some more shots of one model, who is happy to pose. Today is a good day. Not much photography at faire, too much rain. However, one of the musicians that I photographed 2 weeks ago is thrilled with the pic, and asked permission to use it on his site (which I granted, of course.) Now, to finish photoshopping tonight's pics so I can post them. (Comment on this)

3:11 pm	Opening entry This is where I will talk about my photography and show experiments with lighting, etc. Most of the pictures here will also appear on my website, http://www.ratmanphotos.com . Upcoming shoots include KCRF this weekend ( http://www.kcrenfest.com ), and a small shoot of friends going out clubbin on Saturday. This will be my first use of my new lighting setups, consisting of several clamp lamps and two rigged stands which will serve well enough until I can get them on cheap tripods. I am saving up for a new cameara, the Canon Powershot G5. This is how close I am to getting it. After that, the next goal will be a collapsable backdrop and stand, about $100 on ebay.
